MVC Continues Development of its Education Division
One of MVC's definitive strategic goals in 2011 was development of a company division which would offer services in the education market, including language educational products, language laboratory equipment and consulting, and program design services. MVC's positive momentum in this area has included partnering with ASC Direct, USA, on its entire product line, and assembling an utterly top-flight core consulting team.
As indicated on MVC's Educational Products page, company talent has long-term and broad experience with planning, designing, budgeting for, installing and utilizing a variety of education and training resources. According to MVC president, Phade Orion Vader, "ASC Direct's products are innovative, leading-edge, and they have won our confidence, from well over 15 years of working with them. They earned our trust, many times over, and we are proud to have partnered with them to bring effective solutions to our clients." Vader further states that ASC's products, aside from germane quality and customer care quotients, offer many features not even found in competitor's products.
While the equipment and software was initially designed for use in educational settings (and in language learning), MVC also sees huge value in the application of these products in the corporate and business arenas. According to MVC vice-president, Terry Martin, the equipment systems can be used for a variety of education and training objectives perhaps not at first evident. He states, "For instance, the ReLAN, ReLANPro and Voyager (pictured) systems can deliver an almost endless variety of content, from language training—where it all began—to a whole gamut of educational disciplines, for instance history or geography. Plus—there is huge potential for these system to provide unique benefit in corporate and industrial training settings." He further states that MVC can integrate a complete solution for almost any client by combining the deep experience the company also has in setting up more generalized presentation or conference room type installations.
The company has also assembled an unequivocally qualified team of professional consultants for program building, with an initial focus on ESL (English as a Second Language) via the development of IEP or ELI programs, where students study in an immersive, rapid skills development setting, with a strong communicative focus.
