Phade Orion Vader
President / CEO
Mr. Vader is a participative operational management professional who is results focused, with a strong sense of professionalism. He is resourceful and practical, with an entrepreneurial, exceptionally creative sensibility. His leadership is founded on pursuit of organizational excellence. He strongly enjoys process improvement, and implementing strategic TQM initiatives, a strength and skill set of immediate and obvious benefit for the services MVC offers.
Mr. Vader had a lengthy career in higher education, at Texas Tech University, in Lubbock. He was Director of the Language Learning Laboratory & Research Center for 13 years, then served as Managing Director of the Department of Classical & Modern Languages & Literatures for 7 years. During his tenure with the University, he received several awards for outstanding achievement and exceptional service to the institution.
He has indepth experience in managing large multi-million dollar budgets, broad-scale human resources operations, formulating effective organizational policies and procedures, and handling various regulatory aspects of international operations. He is seasoned at working with individuals from many different cultures, and the subtleties and diplomacy of great value in the forging of international relationships. He is also a Certified Professional Public Buyer, and is professionally trained in human resources best practices.
Mr. Vader literally grew up in a family owned business, and was mentored by his parents starting at a very young age. They instilled a firm work ethic, centered around assuring that one's work is of the best quality and that all customers (both internal and external to the organization) are treated with the utmost respect. As mentioned on our "About MVC" page, Mr. Vader founded the beginnings of the Martin-Vader Company in 1995, and his broad experience in large and small organizations allows him to instantly relate to business owners, managers, and directors, as well as individuals working in governmental entities.
Terry W. Martin
Vice President / COO
Mr. Martin is an operations management executive with a focus on program and business development. He is a highly creative administrator, with a strong private business background, including merchandising, facilities organization, and establishing and maintaining key inventory control processes. He is an experienced project manager, a proactive agent for change and improvement, and skilled at employee/team building.
After early successes in helping other business owners manage their operations, including a variety of retail and property management scenarios, Mr. Martin established and operated Texas Hair Team (a successful hair salon in the Lubbock area) for several years before gaining experience in administrative positions with Hospice of Lubbock and Texas Tech University (where he was Director of the Language Learning Laboratory & Research Center, following Mr. Vader's departure from the position). Over the span of his experiences (particularly at Texas Tech University, where he worked with individuals from all over the globe), he also developed a keen understanding of international relationships and the skills necessary to work and partner with global or intercultural organizations. Mr. Martin is also a member of the Institute of Management Consultants USA.
Mr. Martin is a native of West Texas, and credits his upbringing, and the values expressed by his parents, for his work ethic, which embraces hard work and honesty. He accepted an invitation to become a principal partner in the company in 1999, and spearheads sales and client relationships.
Associate Vice President
for Business Development
Ms. Hooks is an expert business and retail operations management consultant, and is seasoned in commercial and residential real estate. She is a licensed real estate agent and certified in real estate operations. She also works in investment properties and is exceptionally talented in coordinating the endless details of contract management and administration.
She held highly responsible positions with several large conglomerate retailers prior to moving into real estate. Before accepting the position of regional manager for NutriSystems, she had a long career in enterprise and corporate retail management (such as Seiferts, the County Seat, and the Limited) covering several Southwest states including Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. She has an exceptional managerial sensibility, and is a talented merchandising designer.
Similar to her MVC colleagues, Ms. Hooks grew up with parents who operated several very successful businesses. The value of personal and professional achievement became an important motivator during her early life. Her drive and impeccable work ethic draw endless energy from that early value system. Ms. Hooks joined the MVC consulting team in 2010, and recently honored MVC with her acceptance to fulfill the role of Associate Vice President for Business Development.
Jimmy Lee Blakley, Jr.
Associate Vice President
for Creative Arts
Mr. Blakley is a professional award-winning artist and professional musician. His creative talents span traditional oil painting, exceptionally complex digital artwork, carving and sculpting, composing music and playing several instruments. He is also a talented writer, and is author of a book manuscript and several short stories.
In addition to a lifelong love of and successful career in music, Mr. Blakley worked in traditional print production for prominent advertising agencies, and was Creative Services Director for KLBK and KAMC television stations in Lubbock, where he won several industry awards and accolades. He was also sound engineer and editor at Warhorse Studios for a number of years, a studio which he helped design and found.
Mr. Blakley was a talented child, the son of musical parents who had a very successful entertainment career. Even as a very young man, Mr. Blakley's professional art skills enticed Boeing to commission him to paint a special roadrunner emblem (some 13 feet long) on a new specially designated commercial jetliner. The work ethic instilled in him by his parents is uncannily similar to that of Mr. Vader and Mr. Martin, and he deeply believes in providing the absolute best possible work for his clients. For those who know him personally, his broad array of talents is astonishing.
In addition to long-term experience in a variety of business management settings, spanning partnerships to large corporate retailers, Ms. McNeely is certified in institutional food management and licensed in cosmetology. She is also an accomplished artist and singer, and seasoned in various aspects of the entertainment and recording industries.
Timonthy D. Condra
Mr. Condra is an exceptionally accomplished designer, having executed and supervised a variety of very complex and sophisticated interior projects, including several 5-star hotels in Asia. He also has decades of experience in devising the placement of retail interiors and merchandising. He frequents key locations in France and is MVC's conduit to contemporary issues and trends in the fashion and design industries.
Mr. Washington brings serious marketing and sales expertise to the MVC team. A native of Lancashire, England, Mr. Washington has worked in many different countries, and is very experienced in international sales and trade. He also specializes in B2B outreach and trade show marketing, as well as establishing distribution and dealer networks.
In addition to 40 years experience in photography, Lane was editor of a Los Angeles banking newspaper and has owned and operated a successful bookstore and gallery. He specializes in a broad range of photography types and styles, spanning everything from portraiture to architectural to commercial photography, including award-winning landscape and art photography.
